How long can you leave the neon sign on?

Leaving a sign switched on for prolonged periods can shorten its lifespan, and leave it at risk of overheating or sustaining damage from electrical surges. Leave the sign on for less than 24 hours.

 

Are neon signs safe to use outdoors?

Most neon signs are used for indoor use. However, this doesn't mean that you cannot use them outdoors just keep away from any water.
